Terms and Conditions for Staff and Caregivers

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the registration, conduct, and responsibilities of all staff, caregivers, and attendants (“you”, “caregiver”, or “staff”) engaged with Xongjug – Home Care Services (“we”, “us”, or “Xongjug”). By registering or working through our platform, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Eligibility and Registration

  • You must be 18 years or older with valid government-issued identity proof.
  • Only genuine applicants with a clear background, relevant experience, and willingness to serve clients in their homes will be accepted.
  • At the time of joining, you must submit:
    • Aadhar Card or Voter ID
    • Police verification certificate (if available or required)
    • Health fitness certificate (if requested)
    • Passport-sized photo
    • Resume or experience details

2. Nature of Engagement

  • Your engagement with Xongjug is on a contractual/on-call basis.
  • You are not an employee of Xongjug but a service provider connected via our platform.
  • We facilitate opportunities, but we are not liable for guaranteeing continuous employment.

3. Code of Conduct

You are expected to:

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, discipline, and behavior.
  • Be punctual, honest, and respectful toward clients and their families.
  • Refrain from any form of theft, abuse, misbehavior, or negligence.
  • Never disclose, misuse, or discuss the client’s personal, medical, or financial details.
  • Avoid using mobile phones excessively or for personal entertainment while on duty.

Any misconduct may result in immediate suspension or blacklisting from the platform.

4. Work Terms and Hours

  • You will be assigned based on availability, location, and client requirements.
  • Job types may include:
    • Full-time/Part-time caregiver
    • Day/Night shift
    • 24×7 stay-in care
    • Hourly/Short-term visits
  • You are expected to report attendance daily and maintain professional interaction at all times.

5. Payments and Fees

  • Xongjug will collect the first month’s payment from the client as a platform fee. You will receive your due portion as agreed.
  • From the second month onward, clients will pay you directly after each session or cycle.
  • You are not allowed to accept advance payments or make personal financial arrangements with clients.
  • If you are found to be dealing independently or bypassing the Xongjug system, strict action will be taken, including removal from our platform.

6. Replacement and Resignation

  • If you cannot continue a job, minimum 7 days’ notice must be given to Xongjug and the client.
  • In emergency cases (sickness, family issue), notify us immediately for proper replacement arrangements.
  • Unauthorized absence or abrupt discontinuation may result in suspension or payment deductions.

7. Safety and Health

  • Your safety is important. If you ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable at a workplace, inform us immediately.
  • Avoid taking up assignments that may pose a risk to your health or life without informing Xongjug.
  • In case of injury during duty, basic support will be coordinated, but Xongjug is not legally liable for medical claims unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

8. Confidentiality

  • You must keep all client data confidential.
  • Do not take photos, videos, or personal data of the client without written permission.
  • Any breach of confidentiality is a serious violation and can lead to legal action.

9. Termination

Your association may be terminated if:

  • You violate the Code of Conduct
  • Clients repeatedly raise complaints about your behavior or service quality
  • You are found engaging in fraud, criminal activity, or unauthorized dealings

10. Legal Compliance

  • You must comply with all applicable laws, including local labor laws and safety norms.
  • You are responsible for any legal or criminal consequences arising from your actions while on duty.

11. Platform Rights

  • Xongjug reserves the right to update or change these Terms at any time.
  • We may suspend or blacklist staff at our discretion in the interest of client safety and platform integrity.
